The psychological mark of 22,000 holds intermediate support, followed by strong support of the 21800-21700 subzone. On the higher end, the 20-DEMA placed at 22300, followed by a bearish gap of 22430-22500, is likely to act as a daunting task in the near period and an authoritative breakthrough could only re-strengthen the lost momentum to the bulls of D-Street, said Osho Krishan of Angel One.

Gold on track for weekly rise as Middle East risks loom
Gold prices held firm on Friday, on track for a fifth consecutive weekly rise, as fears of further tit-for-tat retaliation between Iran and Israel triggered safe-haven demand. Spot gold was little changed at $2,378.30 per ounce as of 9:10 a.m. ET (1310 GMT), after rising as high as $2,417.59 earlier in the session. Prices were up more than 1% this week.

The Dow and the S&P 500 opened flat on Friday as initial jitters about an escalation in the Middle East conflict subsided, while Netflix dropped after forecasting current-quarter revenue below estimates, weighing on the Nasdaq.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 26.60 points, or 0.07%, at the open to 37,801.98.
The S&P 500 opened lower by 5.68 points, or 0.11%, at 5,005.44, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 54.40 points, or 0.35%, to 15,547.10 at the opening bell.

Nifty forms bullish reversal pattern. What should traders do next week
Technically, the set-up is mildly negative at this point with Nifty below the crucial resistance zone of 22,300-350. A crossover beyond this area is required for the bulls to be back in the game, says Tejas Shah of JM Financial & BlinkX.

Cash equivalent funds saw a $160 billion "tax-related outflow" in the week to Wednesday, according to Bank of America's weekly 'Flow Show' report that cites EPFR data, while US stocks suffered their second week of outflows.
